Westmount is where we live, raise our families, and build our memories — it’s our home. That’s why I’m committed to protecting what makes it extraordinary while planning responsibly for tomorrow.

BUILDING ON OUR
ACHIEVEMENTS

From our libraries to our parks, from our architecture to our vibrant commercial streets, Westmount’s accomplishments are the product of collective effort. We’ve inherited something remarkable. Now we face the responsibility of ensuring these achievements evolve to meet today’s challenges — from climate resilience to accessibility.

I AM COMMITTED TO SAFEGUARDING WESTMOUNT’S LEGACY WHILE BUILDING A THRIVING FUTURE THROUGH PRESERVATION, INVESTMENT, AND TRANSPARENCY.

On Council, I will protect our heritage buildings by strengthening preservation bylaws, investing in parks and sports facilities for safe, thriving family spaces, and ensure our libraries thrive and evolve with modern needs and technologies. I will also push for transparent budgeting and clearer communication from City Hall so residents know how decisions are made and resources are used.

GOOD GOVERNANCE REQUIRES METRICS.

My vision for Westmount rests on three pillars: transparency, preservation with innovation, and community-first policies. These principles will be backed by measurable outcomes — from budget clarity and service benchmarks to heritage milestones and resident feedback — so progress is clear.

  • Every decision at City Hall should be open and accessible. I will champion pro-active communication and real-time resident engagement through new technologies. I propose to measure progress with clear benchmarks — from budget dashboards to service delivery times — so that you not only see how resources are used, but can track improvements over time and participate directly in the municipal forum from your home.

  • I am committed to protecting Westmount’s heritage architecture, green spaces, and cultural assets while making responsible, forward-looking investments that support families, youth, and seniors. I propose to measure success through tangible results: heritage sites restored, advancement of parks and recreation facilities, and the level of external funding secured through government grants and partnerships. These metrics will ensure our preservation efforts are not symbolic but real steps toward long-term progress.

  • Policies must reflect the everyday needs of residents. I prioritize safe streets, flourishing public spaces, and responsive local services that keep Westmount a place where people feel connected and proud to live. I propose to improve and track outcomes — from traffic flows to participation in community events and resident satisfaction surveys — so that progress is measured in your lived experience.
